Scholarships

Each year the King Philip Sports Boosters Club rewards a number of graduating seniors with scholarships. The winners in 2010:

King Philip Sport Boosters Award: Janessa Barrett, Hillary Bushway, Caleb Fields and Connor Richards

King Philip Boosters Citizenship Award: Adam Bennett and Kelsey Reiger

Our ability to offer financial scholarships comes from funds we generate through the activities and fundraising we do. This year the Boosters Club was able to offer scholarships through the funds we raised from our first 5K “Rabbit Ramble” Run/walk Road Race.

Students qualify by being a King Philip Athlete and applying for the scholarships each year through the King Philip Guidance Department.  Applications are then reviewed by a scholarship committee made up of Boosters Club members that do NOT have a junior or senior student at King Philip High School.  This helps ensure that each scholarship application is evaluated fairly and objectively.
